Supply Chain Analyst - Perryville, MD - Now Hiring

Summary
The Supply Chain Analyst supports the regional supply chain department and stores to ensure a smooth movement of goods and flow of information within the planning, ordering, and controlling processes. The objective of the position is to optimize the stock supply and availability and to support ordering from the stores in the interest of maximizing turnover. This position will be aligned with one of the RDC Supply Chain sub-departments: Stock Management, Promotion Management, Freshness.
What You&s;ll Do
  • Adhering to the principles of punctual, complete and requirement-compliant ordering
  • Daily analysis of and optimization of store orders, for promotional items and best before date
    critical items (fresh meat and poultry, fresh bread, chiller stock and fruit and vegetables)
  • Regular, comprehensive communication with Sales and the Warehouse for the processing of tasks
  • Serve as main point of contact for vendor purchase order inquiries
  • Provide analysis of store KPIs in the areas concerned (daily/weekly)
  • Produce the allocations of promotional items and life cycle maintenance
  • Report KPI impacting scenarios to Line Manager
  • Control supplier&s;s adherence to deadlines and quantities in area of responsibility
  • Regular updating of the modules and tools used for ordering

What You&s;ll Need
  • Bachelor&s;s degree
  • 0 - 2 years of experience in related field
  • Demand planning and forecasting modeling
  • Driver&s;s license
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to organize data, analyze data and spot trends
