The role supports the Logistics Manager by providing insight into warehouse processes and procedures.
What You'll Do Manages projects, work processes, systems, and/or procedures to ensure efficient workflow Identify, develop, and propose opportunities for business and process improvement Monitor Warehouse systems to ensure correct receiving of goods and on time delivery to store Ensure all safety precautions are being taken in accordance with state and federal laws and internal procedures Support in the management of inventory process and stock control, warehouse cleanliness, and control of external vendors Assist Logistics Manager with minimizing costs and improving efficiency of staff and processes Manage staffing levels to ensure all tasks are completed on time Provide a strong floor presence and understanding of warehouse processes in order to set an example for others to follow Motivate staff within assigned area, ensuring tasks are completed and procedures followed Ensure all staff are trained on necessary equipment and all related certifications and training are up to date Carry out various quality checks in the distribution center and by creating and reviewing reports Supervise, manage, and direct a team of one or more employees What You'll Need Bachelor's degree 2-4 years of experience in a related field In lieu of degree, 5
