Summary The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for leading staff within the Distribution Center according to Lidl US Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
The role supports the Logistics Manager by providing insight into warehouse processes and procedures.
What You'll Do Manages projects, work processes, systems, and/or procedures to ensure efficient workflow Identify, develop, and propose opportunities for business and process improvementMonitor Warehouse systems to ensure correct receiving of goods and on time delivery to storeEnsure all safety precautions are being taken in accordance with state and federal laws and internal proceduresSupport in the management of inventory process and stock control, warehouse cleanliness, and control of external vendorsAssist Logistics Manager with minimizing costs and improving efficiency of staff and processesManage staffing levels to ensure all tasks are completed on timeProvide a strong floor presence and understanding of warehouse processes in order to set an example for others to followMotivate staff within assigned area, ensuring tasks are completed and procedures followedEnsure all staff are trained on necessary equipment and all related certifications and training are up to dateCarry out various quality checks in the distribution center and by creating and reviewing reportsSupervise, manage, and direct a team of one or more employeesWhat You'll Need Bachelor's degree 2-4 years of experience in a related fieldIn lieu of degree, 5
